We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our thriving manufacturing team. The successful candidate will spearhead our quality control department, ensuring we meet and exceed regulatory requirements in our production processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality food products, and as such, we are looking for someone who can rise to the challenge and drive our quality control initiatives to new heights.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for

• Supervising and mentoring a team of Quality Control Technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and
  
  

improvement.

• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards, including HACCP, SQF, GMP, and BRC.
• Conducting daily verification of critical control programs to ensure they are effective and meet the required
  
  

standards.

• Investigating any quality issues that arise, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring preventive measures are in place to avoid recurrence.
• Collaborating with other departments to maintain a consistent quality standard across all our products.
• Training team members on quality procedures and best practices, promoting a culture of high performance and
  
  

compliance.

• Staying current with the latest industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure our quality
  
  

control processes are up-to-date.

• Regularly reviewing and updating quality control procedures and practices to ensure they align with regulatory
  
  

changes and industry advancements.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Quality Control Supervisor position should possess the following

• A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with regulatory requirements, food production, HACCP, SQF, GMP, BRC, and other relevant
  
  

standards.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and
  
  

improvement.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven ability to investigate and rectify quality issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train others on quality procedures and
  
  

best practices.

• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to stay current with the latest industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
