Shasta Beverages, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Technician to manage the QC program, HACCP records, plant audits, mock recalls, and staff training.

You will test ingredients and finished beverages, validate microbiological quality, and support R&D on new product launches. You will document batch reports, analyze quality data, troubleshoot on the line, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years hands-on work experience in the carbonated soft drink industry preferred.
• Experience in quality control testing procedures and internal and external sanitation of beverage equipment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft business applications and various reporting software.
• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Understands and can follow OSHA required training.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Favorable background and drug exam.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible Full Time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to provide own transportation to various locations in organizational service areas.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain HACCP, food safety records, plant audits, mock recall programs and staff training.
• Test microbiological quality of ingredients, suppliers and packaging.
• Provide test data to assure production of high quality products.
• Test concentrates and beverages in development and finished products.
• Collaborate with the R&D team on new product launches.
• Document batch reports and analyze variations in batch sizes and data.
• Troubleshoot on the line and implement corrective actions.
• Collect, analyze and summarize process quality information and trends.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations and quality standards.
• Computer literacy with Excel and Word proficiency.
