Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Quality Control Technician responsible for all quality programs, HACCP, food safety records, plant audits, mock recall programs and training. The role includes testing to validate microbiological quality of ingredients, suppliers, and packages.

You will also work with the R&D team on new product launches and ensure compliance with quality standards across production and packaging.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2-3 years in beverage quality control preferred.
• Experience with quality control testing procedures and sanitation of beverage equipment.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HACCP and food safety records and plant audits.
• Perform testing to validate microbiological quality of ingredients, suppliers and packages.
• Prepare batch reports, analyze data and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collaborate with R&D on new product launches and line trials.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state quality standards; monitor trends and implement improvements.
