Job summary

Personalization Mall, a leading manufacturer and retailer of personalized gifts, is seeking a Quality Control/QA Inspector for 1st shift in Bolingbrook, IL. You will monitor quality standards, inspect products, and route issues to Operations for resolution.

Must be able to stand for long periods and communicate in English. Responsibilities include reporting defects, maintaining QA documentation, and supporting a 24/7 operations environment as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must read and speak English (Spanish is helpful)
• Must be comfortable working with a computer.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours.
• Must be able to push/pull carts and totes up to 25lbs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Planning and problem solving.
• Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and report quality issues.
• Approve items that meet the quality standards expected by our customer.
• Enter defect information into the quality monitoring system.
• Perform all duties of the quality assurance personnel.
• Diagnose problems and contact appropriate teams for support.
• At peak times we operate 24/7; willing to work on either shift to provide coverage.
• Communicate with the support teams to solve issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate with the Operations team about problems in the area.
• Read, write and respond to business emails in English.
• Perform additional duties as required.
