Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Production Worker to handle glass pieces through cutting, tempering and laminating stages. You will load/unload from tables, rolling racks or crates and report to a supervisor.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in a team setting, with opportunities to grow within the industry. This position requires strong attention to detail, willingness to work overtime, and reliable attendance.

  • On/off-loading glass product from tables, rolling racks and wood crates for 10 or more hours.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.
  • Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to expedite the production process.
  • Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
  • Perform different job functions on a rotating basis across different departments.

What You’ll Get to Do

The Production Worker is focused on handling glass pieces and rotating them through various phases of cutting, tempering, and laminating processes. This includes on/off-loading from tables, rolling racks, or wooden crates and reports to the Production Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual with a strong attention to detail particularly in areas of safety, quality, and efficiency, strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
