Job summary

Olgoonik Corporation seeks a QC/Safety Manager to support a major federal construction project in Colorado Springs. You will administer the project Quality Control Program and oversee site safety compliance with contract drawings, specs, and applicable codes.

The role involves reviewing submittals, coordinating with Government QA, conducting inspections, preparing reports, and ensuring thorough record documentation through closeout. Strong collaboration and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive construction experience focusing on quality control, QA, field inspection, and safety management.
• Experience supporting large complex projects from mobilization through closeout is preferred.
• Experience reviewing and approving submittals against contract drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Administer the project Quality Control Program in accordance with contract requirements and applicable standards.
• Review, evaluate, and approve subcontractor and supplier submittals (shop drawings, data, certificates, test reports).
• Verify materials, equipment, and methods comply with drawings, specs, and project requirements.
• Maintain the project submittal register and coordinate routing, review, and disposition of all submittals.
• Conduct and document preparatory, initial, and follow-up quality control inspections for defined work features.
• Perform routine field inspections to verify compliance with submittals, documents, workmanship, and testing criteria.
• Prepare daily QC reports, inspection reports, deficiency logs, meeting minutes, and other quality docs.
• Coordinate material testing, special inspections, and third-party testing services as required.
• Coordinate with Government QA, inspectors, design reps, and stakeholders during inspections and meetings.
