Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee the task order's QC program, inspect operations, and ensure compliance with the SOW, QC plans, and schedules. You will train CCS staff, interact professionally with contractors and vendors, and report unique issues to the Task Order Manager.

The role requires 5+ years in Quality Management, knowledge of OSHA EM 385, government contracts, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least 5 years Quality Management experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EM 385 standards for a variety of craft and labor activities.
• Understanding of Government contracts, correspondence, reports and records.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Mature judgment and ability to work with little or no supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft programs (Word, Power Point, Excel and Access).
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans and procedures for QC programs.
• Review all site work to verify compliance with plans and procedures.
• Responsible for the performance of subcontractors with respect to QC.
• Ensure records are maintained of all permits/licenses/certifications and ensure operator certifications are current.
• Serve as a technical advisor for the Task Order Manager.
• As directed, perform procurement duties within government guidelines.
• Assist in developing cost estimates, budgets, and status reports.
• Review site work for safety plan compliance.
• Plan and organize work to meet schedules amid changing priorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned; formulate QC operating policies.
