Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions in Augusta, GA is seeking a Quality Control Manager (QCM) to develop and manage the contractor's Quality Control Program for federal service contracts. The role focuses on inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvement to meet contract requirements and regulations.

The QCM will analyze performance data, prepare quality reports, and coordinate with Government representatives to ensure safety and quality standards are met across field operations.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing quality control management functions on a Public Works, Base Operations Support Services (BOSS), Facilities Maintenance, or similar Government services contract.
• Experience managing quality programs, inspections, deficiency tracking, and corrective actions.
• Must be eligible for Government-required security clearance or installation access.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the contract Quality Control Program.
• Conduct quality inspections of work performed to verify compliance with contract requirements and performance standards.
• Identify deficiencies, document findings, and oversee corrective actions to resolution.
• Perform root cause analyses to identify recurring performance issues and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare and submit quality reports, inspection results, and performance metrics to the Government.
• Monitor KPIs and quality trends to improve contract performance.
• Coordinate with project leadership, supervisors, and Government representatives to resolve quality concerns.
• Verify completion of corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality documentation and inspection records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
