Job summary

AbbVie in the United States seeks a Quality Control Planner to oversee QC Laboratory Planning and Scheduling within the Plant QC Group, including short-term forecasting, and KPI evaluation to optimize laboratory throughput.

You will collaborate with Laboratory Management to implement process improvements, coordinate batch releases and QC checks, and ensure timely testing, documentation and compliance with cGMP across sites.

Qualifications

• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
• Experience with planning and scheduling software.
• Experience in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains/manages laboratory planning/scheduling applications to ensure accurate configuration and timely prioritization of laboratory samples.
• Monitors, maintains, evaluates and reports laboratory KPI's.
• Collaborates with Laboratory Management to identify and implement process changes that enable continuous improvement.
• Coordinates batch release activities and QC checks ensuring testing, documentation, review and approvals meet timelines and cGMP requirements.
• Participates in cross-site harmonization of laboratory planning and scheduling processes.
• Maintains short-term forecasts to optimize laboratory scheduling and reduce testing cycle times.
