Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a QC Lab Supervisor I to lead a team of Lab Analysts, oversee daily QC operations, and ensure analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. The role emphasizes timely results, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a scientific bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of QC lab experience, with strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology).
• 2+ years of QC Lab experience required.
• General knowledge in cGMPs, compendia, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team, prioritizing shop floor presence and staff coaching.
• Oversee laboratory operations for raw materials, in-process, and finished products, ensuring timely testing and cost control.
• Review analytical data and support investigations, CAPAs, and corrective actions.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a Scientific field (Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology)
