Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Mount Airy is seeking a QC technician to audit, test, and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards are met and GMP practices are followed. The role supports quality assurance across molding, packaging, and loading processes.

The position offers a long-term, evaluation-to-hire path with two shifts available (6:45am-7:15pm and 7:15pm-6:45am). Steel-toed shoes are required. Pay range is $19-21 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Adhere to GMP policies and quality procedures.
• Use statistical tools and techniques to monitor performance and finished goods.
• Conduct laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.
• Identify and communicate quality issues to supervision.
• Audit for compliance with control plans and process parameters.

Responsibilities

• Audit compliance with GMP policies.
• Perform process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Audit for compliance to control plan requirements including process parameters.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.
• Complete dimensional checks and report on product.
• Perform in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading.
• Perform cycle counts and/or inventory of finished goods as required.
• Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel and with shift leaders.

We are hiring for a QC technician for our client in Mount Airy. The Quality Technician will audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards are met as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

1st shift: 2/2/3 schedule- 6:45am-7:15pm

3rd shift: 2/2/3 schedule- 7:15pm-6:45am

Pay range is $19-21

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
• Apply statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods.
• Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.
• Continually seek process improvements and make recommendations to management.
• Audit compliance with GMP policies.
• Performs process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Audit for compliance to control plan requirements including process parameters.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.
• Complete dimensional checks and report on product.
• Perform in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading.
• Perform cycle counts and/or inventory of finished goods as required.
• Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel and with shift leaders.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

This is a long term, evaluation to hire position. Steel toed shoes are required.
