Job summary

Randstad USA in Norwood, MA is seeking a Quality Control Microbiology Associate to support clinical and commercial operations at a premier biopharmaceutical facility. This entry-to-mid-level role offers a 4-day schedule (Sun-Wed, 10am-8pm) with a 15% shift differential.

The position requires a STEM Bachelor's and 6 months to 2 years of GMP QC microbiology lab experience; you will perform environmental monitoring, data entry in LIMS, SOP adherence, and collaborate with internal/external labs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with GMP QC microbiology exposure.
• 6 months to 2 years hands-on GMP QC microbiology lab experience.
• Knowledge of environmental monitoring procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Environmental Monitoring (routine, in-process, EMPQs), WFI sampling, and compressed gas sampling.
• Perform data entry, sample tracking, and trending using LIMS.
• Draft, revise, and adhere to strict SOPs, protocols, and technical reports.
• Support quality system records, including deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and external laboratories for test coordination.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
