Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a client to recruit a Quality Control Associate I for Norwood, MA. This 6-month, on-site contract offers hands-on molecular biology testing support in a GMP QC lab environment.

Responsibilities include routine bioassay testing, data management, SOP execution, and collaboration within cross-functional teams. BA/BS in STEM and 0–2 years' experience are expected, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related STEM field.
• 0–2 years of hands-on GMP QC experience in molecular biology or bioassays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine bioassay and analytical testing (Cell-Based Potency, qPCR, sequencing, electrophoresis).
• Support raw material testing and laboratory readiness.
• Prepare reagents and maintain equipment calibration and inventory.
• Write and execute SOPs and protocols.
• Assist data management and record keeping.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
