Mesa Labs, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Quality Control in San Diego to lead the QC team, develop strategies, and ensure product quality and regulatory compliance across processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Control, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 5–8 years in Quality Control with 2–3 years in management or project leadership.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the quality control team and drive performance.
• Develop and implement QC procedures in line with standards and regs.
• Oversee QC testing and inspections for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze QC data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and internal standards; prepare audits.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to embed quality.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver QC training and build a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage QC budget and optimize labs and testing facilities.
