Mesa Labs, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations at our San Diego site to lead Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Warehouse, Facilities, and Quality.

This senior role reports to the VP/General Manager and aims to deliver safe, compliant, scalable manufacturing while supporting growth. You will partner across Engineering, Product Development, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, and Finance to translate strategy into execution, balance customer commitments with financial targets, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership experience.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Lean manufacturing expertise; Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Warehouse, Facilities, Operational Excellence, and Quality.
• Develop and mentor operational leaders and build succession plans.
• Own performance across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead S&OP, capacity planning, inventory strategy, and resource planning.
• Drive readiness for new product introductions and manufacturing transfers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Product Management, and Finance to remove constraints.
• Build cross-functional partnerships to balance customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead capital planning and continuous improvement culture.
• Use analytics to drive fact-based decisions and monitor KPIs.
