Job summary

Mesa Labs in San Diego is seeking a Manager, Quality Control to lead the QC function, mentor a team, and ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and internal standards. You will develop QC strategies and oversee testing and inspections to maintain product quality.

You will collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to embed quality across manufacturing, drive continuous improvement, and lead root-cause analyses and CAPAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Control, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 5–8 years in Quality Control with 2–3 years in management.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the QC team and set performance objectives.
• Develop and implement QC procedures aligned with ISO/FDA standards.
• Oversee QC testing and inspections for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare audits and docs.
• Collaborate with production, eng and supply chain to embed quality.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Deliver training on quality principles and budget/resource management.
