The Intrepid Group is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the quality control program for hurricane recovery construction at DoD sites in Florida. You will develop QCP, conduct inspections, and coordinate with Site Manager and government representatives to ensure contract compliance and professional turnover.

The ideal candidate has five years of relevant contract experience, at least two years as a QCM, and a proven track record in QA procedures, documentation, and corrective actions.

Competenze

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience on construction contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience serving as a Quality Control Manager on construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing quality control procedures and inspection programs.
• Knowledge of construction practices, contract specifications, applicable building codes, and quality assurance requirements.
• Experience identifying construction deficiencies, documenting findings, and managing corrective actions.
• Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Conduct and document quality control inspections of construction, repair, restoration, and recovery activities.
• Ensure all work complies with contract specifications, approved plans, applicable codes, and quality standards.
• Perform and document preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections as applicable to the project.
• Identify deficiencies, document discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with established quality requirements.
• Maintain quality control documentation, inspection reports, deficiency logs, and required project records.
• Coordinate with the Site Manager and Government representatives regarding quality control issues and inspection requirements.
• Verify completed work meets contract requirements prior to acceptance and turnover.
• Ensure quality control activities are performed throughout all phases of project execution.

Formazione

Five years of experience on construction contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity

Two years as Quality Control Manager on construction projects

Experience developing and implementing quality control procedures and inspection programs

Knowledge of construction practices, contract specifications, applicable building codes, and quality assurance requirements
