Job summary

Facility Services Inc. seeks a QCM/BPRP Manager to assure product/service quality, ensure compliance with contract PWS, gov't regulations, and ISO 9001 standards.

You will monitor QMS performance, generate data and reports, and advise Top Management on QMS changes and training needs to achieve quality objectives. The role requires coordinating across departments, producing quality plans, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information while promoting quality awareness and subcontractor

Qualifications

  • Two years minimum experience in quality control evaluation and reporting in construction or facility management work.
  • Experience working in health facilities under CDC inspection, DoD cognizance, at BSL-2/3/4 levels per CDC/NIH guidance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Act as contractor liaison and authorize corrective actions on defective materials or workmanship.
  • Perform inspections, identify corrective and preventive actions, and follow‑up.
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure corrective actions and compliance with specs.
  • Prepare and document quality plans, policies, procedures and summaries, including subcontract activities.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits.

Job Summary

The QCM/BPRP Manager ensures that the product or service we provide is fit for the intended purpose, is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements. The QCM/BPRM Manager has full authority and responsibility for assuring performance objectives and standards identified in the contract are met, including legal compliance and customer expectations. The manager coordinates the activities required to meet quality standards, manages through inspections and evaluations of the processes in working areas to ensure compliance with contract PWS, government regulations, industry and ISO 9001 standards. He/she also monitors and advises on the performance of the quality management system (QMS), produces data and reports on performance, measuring against set standards. The Manager liaises with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the quality system is functioning properly. Where appropriate, the Manager advises Top Management on QMS changes and their implementation. The Manager assists management with training to enable others to achieve quality objectives and ensures the Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Responsibilities
  • Administration of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Authority to act on behalf of the Contractor, including direct removal, rework, or replacement of defective materials or poor-quality workmanship.
  • Perform inspections, identify corrective and preventive actions, and conduct follow‑up activities.
  • Act as key contact with customers and ensure execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers' specifications.
  • Prepare and document quality plans, policies, procedures and summaries, including subcontract activities.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits.
  • Verify that contractor‑furnished PM records, cards, tags, or logbooks are attached to or placed near each piece of equipment in a conspicuous location.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive quality and company proprietary information and promote quality awareness.
  • Maintain subcontractor performance evaluation program coordination and documentation.
  • Perform duties of management representative to ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained.
Experience and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); some college preferred.
  • At least two years minimum experience in quality control evaluation and reporting in construction or facility management work and a minimum of two years of experience working in comparably sized health facilities under CDC inspection, DoD cognizance, operating at BSL‑2, 3, or 4 as identified by the CDC and NIH.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective communication with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, maintain a positive attitude, and provide exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Proven ability to develop Quality Plans and Procedures.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Valid state‑issued driver license required.
