Quality Control Manager - Beverage
Position Summary:
The Quality Control Manager will oversee all quality assurance and quality control functions at a Bottling facility. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and customer expectations by managing inspections, audits, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily QC operations, including lab testing, inspections, and documentation
Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to maintain compliance with FDA, HACCP, SQF, and other regulatory bodies
Lead internal audits and coordinate third-party inspections
Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, determining root cause and corrective actions
Train and supervise quality control technicians and ensure adherence to safety and hygiene protocols
Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to uphold product quality standards
Maintain detailed and organized records of testing results and compliance documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
5+ years of quality control/assurance experience in the beverage or food manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, GMP, and SQF certification processes
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems (QMS)
