Job summary

My Auto Store is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager with a strong automotive background to lead quality standards for used parts transitioning from dismantling into the warehouse.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on improving part quality, establishing consistent standards, and enforcing those standards across all locations and shifts. Ideal candidates have auto body, dismantling, or collision repair experience and can drive root-cause solutions to reduce defects and returns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in automotive parts quality or related field.
• Experience inspecting, evaluating, or handling automotive parts.
• Supervisory/leadership experience (2+ years).
• Strong understanding of automotive part condition and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall quality of parts moving from dismantling to warehouse inventory.
• Establish and maintain consistent standards for part identification, condition, grading, labeling, and documentation.
• Ensure quality standards are applied across locations, shifts and teams.
• Inspect and audit parts to verify they meet company standards before inventory.
• Identify non-conforming parts and determine disposition (correction, rework, or return).
• Lead, train, and hold Quality Control staff accountable for standards.
