• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards across the complete vehicle-build process.
• Lead incoming, in-process, final, and pre-delivery vehicle inspections.
• Identify defects, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Create standardized inspection procedures, quality checklists, work instructions, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with production leaders to prevent defects rather than relying solely on final inspection.
• Track quality performance, recurring defects, rework, warranty claims, and customer concerns.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage nonconforming materials, components, and completed work.
• Work with purchasing and suppliers to resolve component-quality and delivery issues.
• Participate in new product introductions, engineering changes, and process reviews.
• Ensure quality requirements are considered during vehicle design and process development.
• Conduct layered process audits and verify that corrective actions remain effective.

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and strengthen quality throughout its vehicle manufacturing and restoration operations. This position is responsible for developing quality standards, improving inspection processes, resolving recurring defects, and ensuring every completed vehicle meets company expectations for craftsmanship, performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

The Quality Manager will work closely with engineering, fabrication, body and paint, assembly, upholstery, supply chain, production, and service teams. This leader must be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment where attention to detail and consistent execution are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards across the complete vehicle-build process.

• Establish inspection checkpoints for fabrication, bodywork, paint, electrical systems, interiors, mechanical assembly, fit and finish, and vehicle performance.

• Create standardized inspection procedures, quality checklists, work instructions, and acceptance criteria.
