Qualifications

• 3+ years in automotive parts or related environments.
• 2+ years supervising, leading, or managing employees.
• Experience receiving, inspecting, evaluating, or handling automotive parts.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall quality of parts moving from dismantling into warehouse inventory.
• Establish and maintain consistent standards for part identification, condition, grading, labeling, and documentation.
• Inspect and audit parts to verify they meet company standards before inventory.
• Identify parts not meeting standards and determine disposition (correction, rework, or return).
• Lead, train, coach, and hold Quality Control employees accountable.
• Develop and maintain inspection procedures, quality checklists, and work instructions.
• Conduct regular quality audits and identify gaps in compliance.
• Monitor quality metrics: defect rates, rework, returns, and customer complaints.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Work with Dismantling and Operations to improve quality at the source.
