Job summary

AAR Aircraft Services in Miami, FL seeks a Quality Manager responsible for developing and maintaining systems to ensure all products meet customer requirements and AAR specifications. You will lead the QC team, implement quality programs, and prepare for ISO 9000 and government audits.

Qualifications

• PC literate (Microsoft Office).
• BA/BS or eight years related experience (or equivalent).
• FAA A&P license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining the need for Quality Organization and Processes to support new programs as part of customer proposals.
• Coordinate and implement quality organization and processes at new program sites.
• Assist in implementing the quality program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products.
• Lead and direct the QC staff on site to increase productivity and quality of work.
• Prepare for and represent the company during ISO 9000, U.S. Government, defense department, and customer audits.
• Travel 30%-50%.
