Job summary

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a hands‑on Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager to lead quality operations at our Randolph, MA facility.

You will oversee all aspects of product quality for custom HVAC and CRAH units, from incoming materials through FAT and post‑shipment support, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Project Management to meet demanding performance and reliability expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a quality leadership or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated experience working within regulated, audited, or compliance‑driven manufacturing environments.
• Experience collaborating with internal teams and customers during customer‑witnessed Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
• Proficiency with ERP and MES quality modules, including Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems, as well as Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Working knowledge of HVAC assembly manufacturing and/or sheet metal fabrication preferred.
• Practical experience utilizing root cause analysis and problem‑solving methodologies, such as 5-Why and Fishbone techniques, preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Establish, maintain, and oversee Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), translating quality standards and requirements into effective shop‑floor practices.
• Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation while serving as a credible quality resource for welders, electricians, assemblers, and department leaders.
• Lead root cause investigations using structured problem‑solving methodologies and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented, verified, and sustained.
• Represent the facility during customer interactions, audits, inspections, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), maintaining professionalism and confidence in high‑pressure situations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop department leads and production teams to strengthen quality

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of product quality for custom HVAC and Computer Room Air Handler (CRAH) units, from incoming materials through Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and post‑shipment support. This is a highly visible leadership position that partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Project Management to ensure our products meet the demanding performance and reliability expectations of industrial and hyperscale data center customers.

Location: Randolph, Massachusetts
