Cornerstone Concilium, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Manager to enforce QA/QC practices for MATOC contracts and validate methods used by contractors. You will establish QA/QC systems, coordinate with WMATA project management, and prepare weekly status updates.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, at least five years in construction or transit quality management, and OSHA 10-Hour certification. Strong analytical and coordination skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in construction or transit quality management/assurance.
• 3+ years on a multiple task order contract.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course completed.

Responsabilités

• Enforce, monitor, and document QA/QC practices for task orders bid to MATOC Contractors.
• Establish and maintain a QA/QC system with the MATOC team and provide weekly reports to WMATA PM.
• Coordinate with the WMATA project management team to verify current contract docs and standards.
• Perform QC activities including contributing information to strategic plans, preparing action plans, and identifying problems.
• QA/QC validation of methods used by Contractors; not directing means/methods.

• Enforce, monitor, and document the quality management and quality assurance practices of task orders being sent out for bid to MATOC Contractors.
• Establish and maintain a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) system with the MATOC team and provide weekly update reports to the WMATA project management team.
• Coordinate with the WMATA project management team to verify that the most current contract documents and standards are being used; report any deviations to the WMATA project management team for disposition and direction.
• Perform quality control activities, including:
  • contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews;
  • preparing and completing action plans; and
  • identifying and resolving problems.

The Quality Control Manager will not direct means and methods but will validate and document the methods employed by the Contractors.

Background and experience required

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction or transit quality management and/or assurance.
• A minimum of three (3) years working on a multiple task order contract.
• Successful completion of the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course.

Estimated work hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
