Job summary

Sauer Construction, LLC seeks an experienced QC Manager to take full control of the CQC plan on a project at Norfolk Naval Station VA. You will manage the QC plan, and have full authority on QC matters, coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring daily QC operations.

The role requires extensive DOD experience, a QC management background, and formal certifications, with strong communication skills and a track record in high-end renovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering.
• Candidate must have 5 years’ DOD experience.
• 10 years’ experience as a QC Manager on similar projects.
• Certificate for “Construction Quality Management for Contractors” from USACE.
• 30 Hour OSHA in construction.
• Excellent knowledge of quality control inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Subcontractors and manage QC plan.
• Plan days and weeks in advance; maintain schedule.
• Conduct QCM weekly meeting with client and subs.
• Perform/coordinate inspections and QC data uploads daily.
• Experience with high-end renovations and submittal reviews.
• Complete required daily documentation accurately.

• Proficient completing required daily documentation
