Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Quality Control Manager for commercial construction in Chicago, IL. The role involves partnering with project managers, superintendents, and designers to enforce quality, review drawings and specs, and drive corrective actions from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate has QC leadership experience in commercial GC settings, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office. On-site work with travel to projects is required.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction quality control experience required.
• Quality Control Manager experience preferred.
• Familiarity with drawings, specs, contract documents, and QC plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify quality concerns early with project team.
• Ensure work conforms to project requirements and standards.
• Develop and implement quality control plans across projects.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate corrective actions with subs
• Review submittals, shop drawings, RFIs and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting on QC activities.
• Support project closeout with final QC deliverables.
