Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Quality Control Lead to head a team of QC technicians and inspectors on-site. This hands-on role coordinates information with outside agencies and ensures quality standards are met throughout the precast process.

You will supervise day-to-day QC duties, perform measurements, and ensure accurate reporting while maintaining safety and integrity across the department. The role requires reading QC manuals and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Vocational Training/Certification.
• Initial Quality Control training completed: NPCA PQS1, ACI CFTT grade 1, and ACI CSTT.
• Ability to read and explain QC manuals and training to others.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates samples of incoming materials.
• Assists with pre/post pour QC checks on precast parts.
• Inspects cages, forms and parts during processing and finish.
• Uses cylinder break machine to test samples.
• Distributes reports and tests.
• Uses calipers, dial gauges, and similar tools.
• Performs quality control checks on processes and parts.
• Pulls samples from the floor for testing.
• Ensures QC techs/inspectors follow standards and escalate when needed.
• Performs other duties as needed.
