Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Platteville, CO is hiring for a quality control focused role in an industrial manufacturing environment. The candidate will perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process components and final product.

You will monitor daily plastic concrete testing, compression, moisture, dry fit and other tests, while reporting findings and ensuring readiness for audits. Lead a small QC team and maintain documentation and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI Field Grade I Testing, ACI Strength Testing, ACI Aggregate Testing, ACPA Pipe School within 90 days and maintain certifications.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor daily plastic concrete testing.
• Perform and monitor daily compressive strength testing.
• Perform and monitor daily moistures analysis testing.
• Perform and monitor daily dry fit testing.
• Perform and monitor Three Edge Bearing testing as needed.
• Perform and monitor daily pre/post pour inspections.
• Perform and monitor Root Cause Analysis reporting.
• Report to management team on process improvements, opportunities, respective mistakes, scrap levels and quality concerns.
• Oversee team of 2-4 individuals.
• Ensure plant readiness for audits/assessments.
• Maintain and implement quality systems and standards.
