Döhler GmbH is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to perform chemical, physical and microbiological analysis of beverage components and blends. You will prepare documentation, run tests to ensure quality and food safety, and support production through data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include calibration, analysis across production, sensory tests, line inspections, sanitation checks, batch adjustments, hold decisions, and ERP data entry.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in science-related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in laboratory environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in science-related field preferred.
• Food and beverage experience a plus.
• SAP knowledge

Responsabilités

• Verify lab equipment calibrations daily or weekly and document results.
• Conduct physical and chemical analyses of beverages, syrups, flavors and raw materials throughout production.
• Perform sensory analysis on bulks and finished products during shifts.
• Conduct filling line quality inspections including temperature checks, torques, weights and packaging checks.
• Verify effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation procedures via pre- and post-operational inspections of equipment and ATP swabbing.
• Make batch adjustments when products are out of specification, e.g., adding acid or base.
• Place products on hold when quality/food safety standards are not met and communicate to the appropriate parties.
• Keep the laboratory organized with daily cleaning and stocking of supplies.
• Support investigations of customer complaint issues as needed.
• Collect and send customer production samples and third‑party test samples as requested.
• Adhere to internal hygiene, HACCP, food/quality and job safety standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with production personnel and maintain a clean, safe, health-conscious work environment.
• Enter and maintain information in ERP (SAP) system and complete batch records.
• Maintain the retain area and ensure proper documentation
