Job summary

Döhler is seeking a Sample Lab Operator for flavors and beverage applications. The role focuses on preparation, compounding, packaging, documentation, and shipment of samples, while ensuring compliance with formulas, food safety, and customer expectations.

You will collaborate with D&A, R&D, Commercial, Quality, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure timely order fulfillment. The position requires attention to detail, GMP/HACCP knowledge, and experience in lab environments; SAP proficiency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred.
• Experience in food, beverage, flavor, ingredients, laboratory, manufacturing, or quality environments preferred.
• GMP, HACCP, food safety, and sanitation knowledge.
• SAP or ERP systems experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare flavor, beverage, juice, extract, and ingredient samples per approved formulas.
• Weigh, measure, scan, and dispense raw materials accurately.
• Compound, blend, and package samples using lab equipment.
• Maintain sample integrity and compliance with specs.
• Perform organoleptic evaluations when applicable.
• Manage raw materials inventory and replenishment.
• Process sample orders and shipping info in SAP.
• Document production activities and lot traceability.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, and food safety compliance.
• Assist in shipping, logistics, and documentation.
