Job summary

Döhler GmbH is seeking a Sample Lab Operator for flavors and beverage applications. The role focuses on preparing and packaging samples, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fast-paced lab environment.

The position involves responsibility across sample prep, inventory management, and documentation in SAP, with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement within a global team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred.
• Experience in food, beverage, flavor, ingredients, laboratory, manufacturing, or quality environments preferred.
• Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare flavor, beverage, juice, extract, and ingredient samples according to approved formulations and specifications.
• Weigh, measure, scan, and dispense raw materials and intermediates accurately.
• Compound, blend, homogenize, pasteurize, carbonate, fill, label, and package samples using laboratory equipment.
• Maintain sample integrity and ensure compliance with formulation and process requirements.
• Conduct organoleptic evaluations, including tasting and sensory assessment where applicable.
• Retrieve, manage, and replenish raw materials, packaging supplies, and laboratory consumables.
• Maintain storage of refrigerated, frozen, and ambient materials.
• Accurately process and maintain sample orders and shipping information in SAP and other systems.
• Document sample production activities, inventory movements, and lot traceability.
• Support GMP, HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety programs.
• Prepare domestic and international sample shipments and verify packaging and documentation.
