Job summary

Quaker Houghton PA, Inc. seeks an entry-level lab technician to support quality testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

You will follow documented methods, record results, and notify partners of any non-conforming materials while maintaining a clean, organized lab environment. Under supervision, you will calibrate instruments, assist in investigations, and help implement improved test procedures in collaboration with the Analytical Lab.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; BS preferred in a hard sciences field.
• Entry-level position: 0-2 years’ experience in a fast-paced lab environment.
• Ability to interpret test observations and report results clearly according to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods per specifications.
• Calibrate measuring equipment as scheduled and maintain lab cleanliness and organization.
• Notify stakeholders of non-conforming materials; participate in root-cause investigations as needed.
