Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking a Laboratory QC Technician for night shift production. You will test raw materials, in-process products and finished goods against specs, document results, and communicate non-conformances to partners.

Calibrating equipment and maintaining a clean lab are essential, along with adhering to safety standards and supporting root-cause investigations. Requires a HS diploma or GED and 3+ years in a related field; a BS in hard sciences is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Strong prioritization and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods against specifications.
• Communicate non-conforming findings to appropriate partners.
• Record and report results accurately and promptly per SOPs.
• Calibrate measuring equipment and maintain lab space.
• Assist in root cause investigations and adjust out-of-spec batches.
• Adhere to safety, health and environmental standards.
