Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor I to oversee daily laboratory operations supporting chemical manufacturing. You will manage personnel, calibrate equipment, and ensure compliance with ISO standards while guiding timely analytical reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field and 10+ years in quality within chemical manufacturing, plus supervisory experience and strong MS Office skills. On-site work, with potential off-shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of quality experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO-certified quality systems.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Laboratory instrumentation, analytical methods, and testing procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Quality Control laboratory operations in support of manufacturing activities.
• Supervise, train, and develop laboratory technicians for 24/7 operations.
• Coordinate testing for production support, raw materials, investigations, customer complaints, projects, supplier qualifications.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance, laboratory procedures, record retention, and quality documentation.
• Manage laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and testing activities.
• Support audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote safety culture and site safety/environmental compliance.
