The Quality Control Supervisor I oversees daily laboratory operations supporting chemical manufacturing activities. This role is responsible for laboratory personnel, testing programs, quality system compliance, equipment calibration and maintenance, and timely reporting of analytical results. The position ensures compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and company safety policies while supporting continuous plant operations.
Work is performed in office, laboratory, and chemical manufacturing environments. Occasional off-shift, weekend, or holiday support may be required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toe footwear, and emergency escape respirator. Ability to distinguish colors and interpret laboratory tests, indicators, labels, and instrument displays. Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs and ladders, and work safely throughout the facility.
