Job summary

DBM Global Inc. is seeking a QC Inspector in Utah to ensure dimensional accuracy and proper weld quality across shop fabrication. You will verify drawings, codes, and contract requirements and maintain inspection records.

You will read blueprints, use gauges and measurement tools, and collaborate with foremen and customers' inspectors to resolve discrepancies and assure product conformity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years related experience.
• Completion of a verifiable vocational or training program may substitute for one year of experience.
• Knowledgeable of AWS and AISC codes applicable to steel fabrication and erection.

Responsibilities

• Perform a dimensional and visual inspection of shop fabrication, including final paint inspections, weld preparations and final welds.
• Record and maintain in-process and final inspection records for quality assurance and production control.
• Identify and remedy drawing discrepancies with detailers.
• Coordinate with customers' inspectors during inspection phases.
