Job summary

EZARC, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support QA and inspection activities in our structural steel fabrication operations.

The QC Inspector will inspect fabricated products, welds, materials, dimensions, fit-up, and finished components to ensure they meet contract specs, customer requirements, and EZARC quality standards. The role requires experience in structural steel fabrication, welding inspection, blueprint interpretation, dimensional inspection, and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel fabrication and welding inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret structural shop drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications.
• Proficient in documenting inspection results and quality records.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 and AISC standards is preferred.
• Comfort with using measuring tools to verify tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of fabricated steel components and welds to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Inspect incoming materials and welding consumables for required specs.
• Verify dimensional accuracy using tapes, calipers, and gauges.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols for production guidance.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances in reports.
• Coordinate with production to address defects and ensure traceability.
