Job summary

Philips in the United States is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections, testing and auditing in support of Quality Control operations and assist with the Non-Conforming Material Report process.

You will inspect in-process and finished products, document data clearly, control and retain documentation, and apply acceptance labeling once products are approved for release. Collaboration with other departments ensures routine issues are resolved efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have a school diploma or vocational education or equivalent.
• Ability to read product specifications and follow inspection procedures.
• Proven ability in use of computer tools – databases, Microsoft tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
• Quick decision making ability.
• Quality Control experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control inspection and testing of in-process and finished products.
• Work with other departments to resolve routine issues found during inspection tasks.
• Inspect and verify products at various levels of completion according to inspection plan.
• Document inspection data in a clear and legible fashion.
• Control documentation and retain per work instructions.
• Label product with acceptance labeling once product is deemed acceptable to be released.
