Sterling Engineering is looking for a Lead Quality Control Inspector for a leading engineering consulting firm that specializes in manufacturing, testing, and product development in Chicago, IL. This is a great opportunity to work with a company that always has exciting projects!

Job Duties:

• Conduct quality control inspections on industrial control panels and equipment
• Document inspection procedures, results, and generate detailed reports
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve quality issues
• Track and report on repair/QA metrics
• Support development and implementation of policies for certifications (CSIA, ISO, etc.)

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of relevant experience or certification
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, control panels, or test equipment
• Comfortable working with electrical products (up to 480 volts)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team player
