Job summary

Insight Manufacturing S is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Murphys, CA. This regular full-time, in-person role performs receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections to ensure conformance to drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

You will document measurements, conduct AQL sampling, and support quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include verifying product conformity, maintaining calibration records, and assisting with corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gages, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Experience performing First Article Inspections.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections on manufactured products.
• Verify product conformity to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Perform and document dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Conduct AQL sampling inspections as required.
• Identify, segregate, and document nonconforming material.
• Verify completion and accuracy of production travelers and manufacturing records.
• Follow ISO 9001, customer, and company quality requirements.
• Support internal audits, customer audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Apply calibration labels and maintain calibration databases and records.
• Prepare customer-required First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and supporting documentation.
