Job summary

InSight Manufacturing Services in Murphys, CA is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector to lead precision inspections of raw materials, machined parts, and assemblies. You will read drawings, operate CMMs, and document results to ensure conformance to specifications.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience using precision inspection equipment and CMMs.
• Familiarity with PC-DMIS software and measurement programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, First Article, and final inspections.
• Read blueprints and specifications to verify conformance.
• Operate calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other precision tools.
• Set up parts and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain records.
• Identify nonconforming products and support corrective actions.
• Verify equipment calibration and support QMS audits.
