Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector in San Luis Obispo, CA to support the Quality Assurance team in ensuring product conformance to specifications.

The ideal candidate has attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, with 1 year of manufacturing inspection experience and the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

You will document inspections, maintain calibration records, and assist with basic First Article Inspection Reports as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing inspection environment or equivalent training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections on manufactured products against documented specifications and quality control procedures.
• Identify and document nonconformances, using measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure calibration of measurement equipment is current.
• Notify supervisors of discrepancies and support safe, efficient production processes.
• Support site quality initiatives and perform basic First Article Inspection Reports as needed.

Pay Range: $24-27hr. Shift: 3pm- 1130 pm Monday - Friday
