Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Quality Control Inspector (QCI) for the DF-LAW project at the Hanford site. You will support the turnover from EPC to C&O, oversee QA procedures, and ensure proper application of WTCC processes in startup testing and operations.

Required are a strong background in inspection disciplines, and the ability to obtain required DOE/NRC/Navy related qualifications. Site duties may include weekend/night work and a 4x10 schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, science or equivalent education or training.
• 8 years of experience, plus 6 months related inspection/testing experience.
• Experience implementing DOE Quality Assurance requirements (DOE O 414.1X) or equivalent facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections to ensure adequate coverage for WTP and related facilities.
• Ensure proper use of processes and procedures as implemented.
• Own training and qualification achievement for QC inspection per quality program.
• Maintain training/qualification per QA manager requirements.
• Review inspections and inspection plans for compliance with acceptance criteria and M&TE calibration.
• Support Nuclear Safety Quality Culture emphasizing safety and quality in work.
