Amentum is seeking an onsite Quality Assurance professional to oversee fabrication of nuclear components in Columbia, SC. The role includes writing detailed weekly reports, ensuring adherence to DOE/NQA-1 requirements, and managing hold/witness points and CGD documentation.

Casual employment up to 20 hours per week (max 40 hours) with mileage paid for daily commute. US citizenship is required for facility access and compliance with security requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 10 verifiable years in quality control and inspection in nuclear/DOE facilities.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of assessment/audit techniques and NQA-1 program implementation.
• US Citizenship required for access to certain facilities and programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite fabrication oversight of nuclear components and hold-points; write detailed weekly reports.
• Maintain high quality standards and support proactive error prevention.
• Act as QA representative for customer requirements; manage hold/witness points per plans.
• Oversee CGD and related document control; procurement/document control activities.
• Support special processes documentation and non-conformance reporting.
