Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I - Entry Level in Covington, GA. The 12-month contract role involves testing duties and GD&T interpretation in a medical device context.

Shifts available (2pm-11pm and 6am-2:30pm) with overtime, onsite 40 hours/week, and a W2 contract for eligible US citizens or GC holders. The role requires 1–2 years of inspection experience, proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and gage blocks, and a commitment to continuous improvement and SOP

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection (entry level).
• Able to interpret drawings and GD&T.
• Familiar with standard measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Contract W2 role for US citizens or GC holders only.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in conformance with regulations and standards.
• Inspect, analyze results, and determine final disposition of some product.
• Adhere to SOPs and quality guidelines.
• Identify basic non-conformances within regulations and standards.
• Maintain licenses or training as needed.
• Utilize calibrated equipment and follow maintenance procedures.

Job Description

• Responsible for the efficient and effective performance of testing in conformance with regulations and standards.
• Responsibilities include inspection, analysis of results, determining final disposition of some product and detecting nonconforming conditions.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods. Adheres to quality guidelines.
• Complies with regulations and standards. Identifies basic non-compliance within regulations and standards.
• Maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
• One (1) to two (2)years’ experiences.
• Proven ability to correctly interpret drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Able to use standard measuring equipment including calipers, Random-Access memory (RAM) optic, micrometers, pin gauges, gage blocks, etc.
• Previous experience participating in continuous improvement activities.
• Demonstrated understanding in the use of calibrated equipment and ability to follow equipment maintenance repair procedures.
