MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking an Entry Level Quality Control Inspector for a 12-month contract in San Diego, CA. This role is on W2, with night shifts from 10:00pm to 5:00am and a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities include visual inspection, measurement with calipers and standard equipment, and determining disposition of products according to SOPs. Candidates should be detail-oriented with basic inspection experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform testing in conformance with regulations and standards.
• Conduct visual inspection and analyze results to determine final disposition of products.
• Work within SOPs and scientific methods in the Final Inspection Area.
• Adhere to quality guidelines and comply with regulations and standards.
• Identify basic non-conformances within regulations and standards.
• Maintain relevant licenses and certifications as needed.
• Possess 1–2 years of experience; interpret drawings and GD&T.
• Use standard measuring equipment including calipers and RAM optics; gauges where applicable.
• Support continuous improvement activities and follow equipment maintenance procedures.

Job Description

• Responsible for the efficient and effective performance of testing in conformance with regulations and standards.
• Responsibilities include inspection (Visual), analysis of results, determining final disposition of some product and detecting nonconforming conditions.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods at the Final Inspection Area.
• Adheres to quality guidelines. Complies with regulations and standards.
• Identifies basic non-compliance within regulations and standards.
• Maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
• One (1) to two (2)years’ experience is desirable.
• Proven ability to correctly interpret drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Able to use standard measuring equipment including callipers,
• Random-Access memory (RAM) optic, micrometeors, pin gauges, gage blocks, etc. is a plus.
• Previous experience participating in continuous improvement activities.
• Demonstrated understanding in the use of calibrated equipment and ability to follow equipment maintenance repair procedures.
