Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Covington, GA seeks a Quality Control Inspector for a 12-month contract. The role requires performing visual, dimensional and functional inspections on a wide range of products, recording results, and reporting non-conformances to the supervisor.

First shift, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with mandatory overtime daily until 4:30 pm and every Saturday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Candidates must have 2 years of quality control experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspections on a wide variety of products.
• Report non-conformances to Supervisor and discuss corrective actions.
• Determine whether product is acceptable or rejected; initiate rejection notices.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and results; refer issues to QC Lead/Manager.
• Monitor GMP compliance in working areas and report infractions.
• Evaluate product and process; assess impact on quality, productivity, costs.
• Other duties as applicable or assigned.

Position : Quality Control Inspector - Urgent Need

Location : Covington, GA

Duration : 12 Months Contract

pay rate-$20-25/hr

Total Hours/week : 40.00

1st Shift Work hours are 6am - 2:30pm. Currently there is MANDATORY OVERTIME DAILY UNTIL 4:30PM. There is also MANDATORY OVERTIME EVERY SATURDAY FROM 6AM - 2:30PM

Must Have 2 Years Of Quality Experience

• Performs visual, dimensional and functional inspections on a wide variety of products in accordance with internal procedures and Product Specifications.
• Reports non-conformances to Supervisor and discusses corrective action. In addition, follows-up to see if corrective action was effective.
• Determines whether product is acceptable or rejected, initiates rejection notices, and maintains accurate written records of the inspections performed, including the results. Recognizes conditions outside their specific areas of inspection which require action and refers the items to the supervisor. Monitors compliance to G.M.P. in employee working areas and reports infractions to Q.C. Lead or Manager for corrective action.
• Employee evaluates both the product and process, making decisions on subjective visual inspections. Responsibilities have an impact on product quality, productivity, and product costs as affected by internal and external costs of rework, scrap and product warranty. Other duties as applicable or assigned.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two (1-2) years related Quality Control experience or equivalency. Demonstrated human relation and communications skills.
• Ability to withstand repetitive motion and to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to read and comprehend English.
• Six (6) months related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
