Job summary

VORTEQ Coil Finishers, LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector to monitor and evaluate products for quality specifications. You will work on the production line, operate lab equipment, and verify paint properties and packaging.

The role requires reading/writing proficiency, basic math, and data entry. Overtime and weekend shifts may be needed, with a starting pay of $20.00 per hour for the 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing proficiency required.
• Math skills and ability to understand basic measurements.
• Comfort with calculator and computer for data entry.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of quality experience in steel, coating, or manufacturing.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate products against quality specifications.
• Operate lab equipment and follow testing procedures.
• Read and verify supplier Product Specification Sheets.
• Prepare lab data sheets and paperwork for production.
• Label and test painted samples for color, gloss, and adhesion.
