Wencor Group LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure inbound/outbound products conform to government and customer standards. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring with micrometers, and documenting nonconformances to support corrective actions.
Responsibilities include updating inspection plans, auditing records, participating in improvement teams, and promoting safety practices across the shop floor.
Inspect inbound/outbound products for conformance with government and customer standards and specifications. Report deviations and support preventative measures and corrective actions analysis to deliver the highest quality product to customers.
High school diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
